Kim & Micah Langseth

Hello to all. It is December 8, 2005. Collin turned one yesterday! A year ago is was cool but this year Collin's birthday was a freezing one. Here in Chicago we are experiencing very cold weather early in the season. Well, enough about the weather and on to the main attraction.

Collin is one! I can't believe it but it has been a year since he entered our lives. We feel very blessed to have such a happy and healthy child who loves life. Collin is not quite walking and doesn't seem to have interest in doing so. He is perfectly happy crawling everywhere at a fast speed. He will take a few steps if we stand him up and cheer him on. He loves to clap for himself once he falls to the ground and then off he crawls. Oh well, he will get it one of these days.

Collin will be a big brother come mid April. We had an ultrasound last week and the baby is a healthy baby boy. I am sure Collin will love having a playmate! Well, have a wonderful Christmas and look for our Christmas card. I have to start addressing the envelopes to get them in the mail.

Happy Holidays to all!
Kim, Micah, Collin, and Baby Langseth

Joab & Emily Meyer

It is with much joy we announce the newest member to our family: Asa David Lawrence

Birthday: 10-4-05 at 11:19 PM
Weight: 8 lbs 9 oz
Height: 20.5 inches

An explanation of our son’s name:

Asa – One of the good kings of Judah in ancient Israel who was committed to the God with his whole heart. Asa also means “ God is healer”.

David – A king in the Old Testament who worshipped God; In addition, we both have wonderful brothers named David.

Lawrence- The name of Joab’s maternal Grandfather. Asa is blessed to have inherited Grandpa Lawrence’s red hair and the hook nose; we pray one day he may be as diligent and committed as Grandpa.

What a journey from Minneapolis across the Midwest and to Phoenix, Asa has booked a lot of miles already. Thank you for your prayers, calls and e-mails!

Love-
Joab and Em, Miriam and Asa

Melissa (Lucas) Trembath

It's hard to believe that 10 years ago I moved out to Colorado with my parents! God has truly blessed and guided me through this incredible journey. I don't know if I ever shared with you how special and meaningful my time with CSF was back in 1995. I was struggling with so many different things, and it was so nice to have a group that I could go to and share my prayers with and also pray for others. Thank you so much!

Well, here is a little update on my life, I'll try to make it brief : ) Todd and I celebrated our 8th Anniversary in June. We have a son Joseph, who just turned 2 on August 23rd. He is truly a joy and keeps us on our toes! I am enjoying being a stay at home mom. We are still at Sunnyside Christian Church, busy with Bible studies and helping with Kid's Choirs.

Take care and God bless!
